Kathmandu next for Hong Kong Express
HONG KONG – Hong Kong Express Airways has marked the relocation of its passenger check-in desk to the Hong Kong International Airport’s new Terminal 2 with a reception for 200 guests, who were welcomed by Airport Authority Hong Kong CEO, Stanley Hui
The move coincides with confirmation that the airline will launch a new route between Hong Kong and Kathmandu by mid December.
“The relocation of our check-in desks is an important element in the strategy we set for this year. The range of new facilities and amenities, plus the terminal’s improved transport connections are a terrific advantage for passengers,” said Ronnie Choi, president of Hong Kong Express Airways.
“But it is the increased space at T2 that enables us in turn to offer more efficient check-in that really brings the overall passenger experience closer in line with our service standard goals,” Choi added.
The relocation to T2 comes amidst Hong Kong Express Airways’ recent ramping up of new route openings.
This month the airline has launched services to Yangon and Kuala Lumpur, and increased flight frequencies from three times weekly to daily on its recently introduced Bangkok service.
