Kempinski Hotels becomes member of ASTA
Citing the continued value of the US travel agency community, Kempinski Hotels has joined the American Society of Travel Agents.
The hotel group believe the ‘support, education and advocacy that the Society offers’ will help it boost business in the US market.
"In order to translate the value of that experience we rely for a large part on the luxury travel professional community and are delighted to fortify this relationship even more by joining ASTA," said Theo Ocks, Kempinski’s vice president of global sales.
Kempinski is one of the oldest hotel companies, operating for more than 120 years.
It operates 75 luxury hotels and residences in 33 countries including the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.
It is also a founding member of the Global Hotel Alliance.
It will continue to offer US agents 10% commission on room and group bookings.
