Kenya eases entry for UK travellers
Kenya’s Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has removed the UK from its quarantine list.
Visitors arriving from the UK will no longer be required to undergo a seven day self-quarantine upon arrival in the country.
It eased restrictions just days after Kenya was taken off the UK’s red list.
Now visitors are required to present a negative PCR test, taken within 96 hours before travel, and will also be required to submit daily health information for 14 consecutive days whilst in Kenya.
The change has delighted Kenya Tourism Board CEO, Dr. Betty Radier who is looking forward to visitors from the UK, which is a key market for Kenya.
"As one of our key markets, we are thrilled to be able to welcome back visitors from the UK to Kenya. With restrictions now removed, we look forward to having even more visitors from the UK," Radier said.
