Khiri Travel issues Thailand – Cambodia border update
Asia DMC Khiri Travel says it is closely monitoring the tensions along the Thailand–Cambodia border, confirming that travellers cannot currently cross land borders between the countries.
It is monitoring specifically in the rural area between Surin Province in Thailand and Oddar Meanchey and Preah Vihear Provinces in Cambodia.
However, it says this region is remote and far from the areas included in travellers’ planned itineraries.
Khiri Travel is advising all its customers to take cross-border journeys by air until further notice.
For bookings affected by the cross border tensions, the company says it will contact customers to discuss alternative travel arrangements.
Its teams in Thailand and Cambodia continue to monitor the situation closely and will issue updates as needed.
