Kirker acquired by Kuoni
Kirker Holidays has been acquired by Kuoni for an undisclosed price.
The tailor-made holidays specialist is being acquired from ECI Partners and the operator’s management.
Kirker generated turnover of £17.8 million last year and has 45 staff.
It is the second deal by Kuoni this month following the acquisition of escorted long haul tours direct-sell company Holiday Supplies which operates the Journeys of Distinction, Go Touring and Cruise Options brands.
Kuoni said it intended to maintain the Kirker brand.
A statement said: “The present management team and staff will be retained to further develop the companyand its products and help ensure their ongoing success and growth. In organisational terms, Kirker Holidays will be an independent unit as part of the Kuoni UK companies.”
Kuoni UK managing director Sue Biggs said: “We’re vey excited about this acquisition, and have admired Kirker Holidays for many years.
