Kuoni targets new cruisers

Kuoni has launched an in-store ad campaign to inspire customers to try cruising.

The Stay & Cruise promotion, which goes live in all Kuoni high street shops today, will run for a four week period.

The travel firm has produced a new Stay & Cruise booklet highlighting some of the Kuoni’s handpicked cruise partners including Celebrity, Azamara, Seabourn, Cunard, Crystal, Regent, Star Clippers and Compagnie du Ponant.

"We felt this was the right time to put cruise centre stage throughout our retail network," said Derek Jones, Kuoni managing director.

"We soft launched stay and cruise in November following an intensive training programme for staff, so we’ve had it on sale for a few months now.   Our team are now confident selling ships either as stand-alone cruises or as part of a broader worldwide itinerary."

There is also a new cruise section on the Kuoni website.

Derek Jones added: "This new campaign is designed to inspire customers who may not have previously considered a cruise as part of their holiday experience before."
