LA releases 2007 Visitor Guide
The Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau, has released the 2007 Los Angeles Official Visitors Guide” in time to celebrate the citys 225th anniversary. The free guide features insider tips on activities, events, attractions, restaurants, clubs and other amenities.
The new guide sports a hip new look and a host of new and useful features, such as “225 Things to See in LA,” created by LA Inc. in honor of the city’s 225th anniversary (LA was founded in 1781), as well as “On Location: The City is a Star,” “Living the Celebrity Lifestyle,” “The New Must-Sees,” “LA Confidential” and “Family Adventures.”
The 128 page also offers discounts on attractions, restaurants, shops and other benefits through the GoLACard, as well as information on where to buy half-price show tickets. New maps help visitors get around by car or by taking LA’s public transportation Metro system.
The guides are being distributed at more than 500 key visitor locations and at the Los Angeles Visitor Information Centers in Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. You can also order one to be sent by mail by calling 866-523-9756 or visiting www.seemyla.com and clicking on “plan your vacation.”
