Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa casino has opened a dedicated ladies-only zone after listening to feedback from female guests.

The casino resort said the move is “groundbreaking in the gaming industry and is arguably the first in the Southeast Asia region”.

There will be12 ladies-only tables of popular table games where selected male croupiers and waiters “notable for their experience and friendly service” will be assigned.

“The Ladies Club offers a very different gaming experience like no other in this region. Now that they’ve got their own space, they can enjoy the undivided attention of dedicated croupiers and service staff,” said Jay Lee, SVP Gaming Services.

Resorts World Sentosa soft opened its four hotels on January 20, its shopping and dining strip, FestiveWalk, on January 30 and Singapore’s first casino on February 14.

Southeast Asia’s first and only Universal Studios opened at Resorts World Sentosa on March 18.
