SANTIAGO – LAN has installed its new Premium Business class and enhanced its Economy class in all long-haul flights the company operates to destinations in North America, Caribbean, Europe, South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia.

LAN’s Premium Business is equipped with sleeper-style seats that recline 180 degrees for sleeping in a fully horizontal position.

Premium business passengers are also being offered enhanced dine and wine options, and an upgraded in-flight entertainment experience.

Economy class has been totally refurbished, including seats with extra recline, and larger individual wide-screen video monitors with on-demand entertainment.

LAN’s entertainment system features 44 movies, 95 TV programmes, 550 music CDs and 14 video games – all on demand.

“This initiative represents an investment of US$120 million in service enhancements,” said Armando Valdivieso, LAN’s CEO Passenger.

“It is part of our commitment to bet on the future and continue to improve every day,” he added,
