Las Vegas means business
While the leisure sector makes up the bulk of travelers to Las Vegas, the popular area is pushing for more business travel with a new domestic campaign targeted to corporations.
“Even in the US, we are still seen as a leisure destination despite being in the top three for business,” Terry Jicinksy, vice president for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority told e-tid.com. “We think what appeals as a leisure destination will also work for corporations.”
Last year, 38 million people visited Las Vegas, with the UK the number one international market.
Last year, estimates are that 6.5 million visitors were business travelers to Vegas.
