lastminute renews Hertz agreement
lastminute.com has re-appointed Hertz its preferred supplier.
The online agent announced the deal at the end of last week, just days after Expedia announced a similar deal with Avis.
lastminute global head of tour operating, Raj Kumar told TravelMole that the agreement with Hertz, which is reviewed on an annual basis, would guarantee lastminute two things – a specified level of availability, and the most competitive net rates available.
National, and its US-arm, Alamo are secondary suppliers, and Mr Kumar told TravelMole that lastminute was in talks with Europcar, Avis and Sixt, to become secondary suppliers.
