HONG KONG – Brandon Lau has been appointed general manager Hong Kong of the travel group SKY Travel, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuoni Travel.
Lau will be responsible for the overall management of the travel group’s Hong Kong operations.

“He has played an integral role in the shaping of Hong Kong tourism.”
Lau joined P&O Travel, now known as SKY Travel, in 1980, where he worked until 2003, moving through the ranks from tour guide to his current position of general manager-Hong Kong.
He has lectured on a variety of travel and tourism subjects at the Hong Kong Travel and Tourism Training Centre, the Hong Kong College of Technology and the Travel Industry Council.
A prominent member of a number of key industry organisations, Lau is currently an inbound committee member of the Travel Industry Council, an executive committee member of the Hong Kong Outbound Tour Operators’ Association, and honorary secretary of the Federation of Hong Kong Chinese Tourist Association.
