Leading winter tour operators merge
Two major tour operators specializing in winter vacations, Alpine Adventures and SkiEurope, announced a merger.
The companies based in Houston, Texas and Fort Lauderdale, Florida say that by teaming up they will be able to offer a broader range of options for both individuals and groups. The merger will add a new high-end product line called Alpine Luxury Collection.
“When you add SkiEurope and Alpine Adventures together, we will be the largest ski tour operator to Europe,” said Rick Reichsfeld, president of Alpine Adventures.
SkiEurope is a tour operator specializing in European winter vacations.
Alpine Adventures is a tour operator providing winter and summer adventure and luxury ski vacations to Europe, North and South America.
The clients of both companies include ski clubs, private groups, travel agents and individual skiers.
