Leading Worldchoice agency Deeping Travel, established for 40 years, has collapsed.
The company, based in Bourne near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, had branches in March, Market Deeping and Bourne.
It also traded as Deeping Travel Worldchoice, Yes, Yes Travel, Yes Holidays and The Travel Agents.
ABTA said the company had ceased trading and cannot meet its future liabilities.
Director John Lawrence and nine staff are affected as the company went into the hands of Peterborough accountants Bulley Davey.
A creditors meeting is scheduled for December 23.
Retail claims arising from the failure will be handled by ABTA claims handling partner CEGA.
The company also had licensable turnover and any ATOL claims will be handled by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Any suppliers who dealt with the company on the ACAS payment system are being advised to contact Worldchoice.
