Leger Holidays sets up temporary booking line
Leger Holidays has set up a back-up reservations service for agents after its office had to be evacuated as a precaution due to flooding fears.
The Rotherham-based coach operator’s office is less than three miles away from the Ulley reservoir where there has been risk of a dam wall failing due to excessive rainfall.
As a result the office had to be shut yesterday (Tuesday) but a reservations line has now been established allowing staff to take calls from agents while working from home.
The reservations line is 01709-839839.
Retail sales director Peter Raynor said he hoped staff would be able to return to the office within 24 hours, depending on how local conditions improve.
He recommended that agents check the company’s website at www.leger.co.uk for updated information.
