Leisure travel: cruises and all-inclusive most popular
The strongest areas of leisure travel now are cruises and all-inclusive resorts, believes Danny Hudson, CTO, LibGO Travel.
“My understanding is that leisure travel is rebounding very well in all areas,” he said.
When it comes to travel industry trends, Mr Hudson sees companies increasingly having to adapt to fast changes.
“Everybody is looking to have better access to inventory, and to provide direct connectivity between distribution channels and suppliers,” he said.
Companies also want to have the ability to manage relationships more efficiently, he added.
Historically, companies created travel packaging perhaps once a year.
“But now companies have added the ability to do much more dynamic packaging,” he said.
Companies and consumers are more prone than ever to look for ways to increase their yield, he said.
“Cost is one reason, but operational efficiency counts even more,” he said.
