Liverpool hotel group to launch ‘Love Boat’
Liverpool hotel operator, Signature Living, has bought a ship to turn into an Ibiza-style floating hotel aimed at partygoers.
Called the ‘Love Boat’, the £3.3 million ship is expected to drop anchor in the party capitals of Marbella, Ibiza and Majorca for week-long residencies with big name DJs.
The ship, which will carry 632 passengers, is currently receiving a refit in Portugal ready to set sail in August.

Partygoers will also be entertained by percussionists, theatrical performers and Rio carnival style Alma De Cuba dancers.
Bookings will go on sale in mid January, with prices from £70 per person per night.
Signature Living is founded by property developer and hotelier Lawrence Kenwright.
"Our latest acquisition is without any doubt our most flamboyant," he said.
"Not only will you be able to enjoy this amazing vessel with your friends, but you will also share it with some of the worlds most influential celebrities and personalities, including an array of some of the worlds best DJs and all set out at sea."
He said Signature Living ‘lives as far away from a standard hotel as is possible’ and said the Love Boat will ‘yet again break all the rules’.
Signature Living started 10 years ago and now claims to be worth £500 million.
It has five hotels in Liverpool, including the Shankly Hotel, Signature Living Hotel, Arthouse and 30 James Street, and the Exchange Hotel in Cardiff.
Nine more hotels are in development, including Loyolla Hall in St Helens, the football-themed Dixie Dean in Liverpool, a second Shankly Hotel in Preston and the soon-to-be-opened George Best hotel in Belfast.
