London is most Instagrammed city break destination
London has been named the most Instagrammed city break destination by accommodation specialist Citybase Apartments.
The company analysed Instagram hashtags to work out the list, which has Paris in second place with 88.4 million tags. That compares to 103 million tags for London.
Istanbul, Barcelona and Moscow make up the rest of the top five.
Berlin, Madrid, Amsterdam, Rome and Milan make up the rest of the top 10.
Italy is home to the highest number of Instagrammed city break destinations featuring on the list, with Rome, Milan, Venice and Florence all included.
Other featured UK destinations include Edinburgh and Glasgow.
