Lufthansa signs up to GTMC
Lufthansa has become an associate member of the Guild of Travel Management Companies.
The German carrier is the eighth airline to join the guild as an associate member.
Guild chief executive Philip Carlisle said: “Associate membership will give Lufthansa access to our TMC members, including the guild working party meetings; the airline will have exposure on our website and representatives will be able to attend the ultimate business travel debating, education and networking event, the GTMC annual conference.â€
Lufthansa, one of the founding members of Star Alliance, is the largest non-British carrier flying from Heathrow.
The airline’s UK and Ireland general manager Marianne Sammann, said: “Lufthansa’s commitment to continually finding innovative solutions to the challenges facing the aviation industry today makes us a key player in the overall travel industry.
“As one of the leading business carriers in the world, we can now work with the other major players in the UK travel sector to ensure we continue to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive market.â€
