Villazzo turns up the heat in Miami with two new VillaHotels

The Miami-based VillaHotel company recently opened a pair of luxury residences in prime locations, bringing its Miami portfolio up to seven properties.  Athena and Los Fuentes offer five-star hotel-style services, captivating styles and designs, and convenience to Miami’s most desirable attractions.

Villazzo’s new VillaHotels are in response to strong demand the company has experienced in the Miami market. “This new concept in travel has obviously struck a chord with the most discerning travellers, and the amazing growth and success we’ve experienced in Miami shows that the city is as hot as it’s ever been,” said Christian Jagodzinski, President and Founder of Villazzo.

VillaHotels are the new standard of ultra-luxury, located at the finest addresses in St. Tropez, Marbella, Miami, Aspen, Courchevel and Paris. Guests have the entire hotel to themselves, combining the services of a first-rate hotel with the privacy, space and freedom of a villa. Guests of Villazzo can expect the finest amenities from climate-controlled wine storage and state-of-the-art kitchens to home cinemas and spa treatments. They also enjoy total dining freedom to the highest standards, discerning Hotel Managers, and highly trained staff – including butlers, chefs, nannies and chauffeurs – to assure incomparable stays.

VillaHotel Los Fuentes: This spectacular baroque mansion takes its name from the estate’s many fountains, located in the Italianate gardens. At night, there’s no more magical spot for entertaining than amidst the illuminated trees and water features.

The property’s interior is extraordinarily rich, with inlaid marble, marquetry, mosaics, trompe l’oeils, wood-beamed ceilings and gilded columns.  VillaHotel Los Fuentes offers five bedrooms, two lounges, a dining room for 14, as well as a cinema and bar. Tuck into the steam room, the gymnasium, or the office (if you must!) – it’s the ultimate combination of hedonism and tranquility, and quite close to South Beach. From $2,200/day (£1,100).

VillaHotel Athena: Overlooking Biscayne Bay on exclusive Hibiscus Island, VillaHotel Athena spreads out with a main house, guest house, boat house and cabana, all set within tiered pools connected by walkways. The Greek architecture includes a 50-foot windmill with sails that shade the swimming pool.

The overall theme is typical of Cyclades villas, with domed roofs, large open arches, whitewashed paintwork, wood-beamed ceilings and stone floors. The main house has a master suite, lounge, dining room and kitchen, as well as numerous dining alcoves, bar areas and terraces. The three-room guest house has a generously equipped office, gymnasium and movie theatre. Swap the Aegean for the Atlantic and relax. From $8,600/day (£4,300).
