Luxury resort brand One&Only to debut in Malaysia
Luxury resort brand One&Only has announced the opening date of its first resort in continental Asia.
One&Only Desaru Coast will launch on March 23, 2020 on the Desaru Coast in Johor State, Malaysia, featuring a collection of junior suites, as well as two grand suites and a signature ‘Villa One’ unit.
Each will have a private pool, private outdoor space and traditional Malaysian décor elements.
It will house five F&B venues including a beach club, a fitness centre, spa and access to the ‘Els Club’ golf location.
"One&Only Desaru Coast will be our first resort in Asia and Malaysia’s secluded coastline and rich regional heritage makes it the perfect location," said Kerzner International CEO, Philippe Zuber.
The resort spans 128 acres including more than a kilometre of private beachfront.
The brand has a global footprint with resorts in Mexico, the Middle East, Australia, Africa and Europe.
