Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg receives 2008 MIPIM Award
The Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg was awarded the MIPIM Award in the Hotels and Tourism Resorts category in Cannes on March 13, 2008. The hotel which opened in June 2007, is housed in a historic water tower . The MIPIM Award has been given since 1991 and is considered the Oscar of the real estate industry.
The jury weighs criteria such as quality, originality, infrastructure and service offer. Besides the selected hotels, award winners were selected in five other categories from among the 16,000 entries.

The Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg is situated in a central location and has 226 rooms and suites. Historic elements of the 19th century water tower harmonize with a contemporary hotel concept. Mövenpick Hotel Restaurant with its terrace, the Cave Lifestyle Bar and Lounge and the Fitness and Wellness Center provide dining and relaxation.
