Madam Lash turns up the heat at the Hilton
SYDNEY: The Hilton Sydney has launched a Hilton Provocateur package to inspire passion after a relationships study revealed that while over three million Australians want to spice up their life in the bedroom, almost half naively hope things will get better over time.
The survey found that while most want to heat things up between the sheets, almost a third are too embarrassed to seek ideas, and more than a quarter don’t know who to go to for tips.
The Hilton has the answer to that one: Sydney’s sex icon Madame Lash (Gretel Pinniger).
Lash was troubled by the results of the survey, saying, “People are missing out on the most enjoyable of human pleasures. We all indulge in fine food under the presumption of ‘why just eat anything when you’re hungry?’
“The same principle should apply to matters of the bedroom.”
So what is a confused lover to do in order to spice up their relationship?
Hilton Sydney has consulted experts of the bedroom and kitchen respectively, Madame Lash and leading chef Luke Mangan, to come up with the seductive new A$650 per night package for guests, ‘Hilton Provocateur’.
With Madame Lash’s own seduction tips for the bedroom and Luke Mangan’s new aphrodisiac tasting platter, Hilton Provocateur guarantees to provide guests with an experience that will have them brandishing that ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign as soon as they check in.
“Ask people to name an aphrodisiac and most would say the oyster. But does anyone know that basil, truffles, vanilla and figs are all just as powerful? The scent and taste of vanilla in particular is said to increase lust,” Mangan said.
As the larger-than-life burlesque artist who fascinated the Australian imagination in the’70s and ‘80s, Madame Lash has plenty of tips for spicing up that special ‘night in’.
“After 30 years of transforming hotel rooms to my own imagination and my lover’s requirements, I’m excited about sharing my tips for the first time to help create the sexy ‘Hilton Provocateur’ – I hope everyone can share in this fun package and enjoy themselves as much as I have,” commented Lash.
