Magazine readers name top ten US business hotels
Question: what’s the best US business hotel?
Answer: the Four Seasons in Washington, DC, or so says a new survey.
Travel + Leisure magazine, published by American Express Publishing, asked readers for the top 10 hotels in the US and Canada.
The Four Seasons, at the top of the list, offers business travelers perks that include 100 digitally printed editions of newspapers. There’s even a place to store luggage and personal items at the hotel for future visits.
The runner-up was the Peninsula in Chicago.
Third was the Four Seasons in San Francisco.
Others were The Peninsula in New York, the XV Beacon in Boston, the Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake City, the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas, the Peninsula Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, the St. Paul Hotel in Minneapolis, and the four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.
Features that led to these hotels being named best included complimentary in-town chauffeured car service to business travelers, 24-hour concierges and (at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas) an “I Need it Now” program that provides guests’ everything from cuff-links to cell phone chargers.
