Major recruitment drive for Travel Network Group
The Travel Network Group has launched a major recruitment drive to increase its number of homeworkers over the next 12 months.
Managing director Gary Lewis said he was not satisfied with the current size and scale of the group and needed to accelerate the pace of recruitment.
It has launched a number of initiatives including radio advertising in the north of England; a social media campaign to reach out to prospective new homeworkers across the UK; and an advertising drive in specialist newspapers and magazines.
"We have had a great year in Independent Travel Experts, having continued to make significant investments in both resources and processes," said Lewis.
"IT has been a major focus with Phase 2 of our back-office system completed following feedback from our homeworker colleagues, and a number of new management appointments in sales, operations, business development and brand marketing have all helped us to establish a solid structure for the business.
"These investments and focus are clearly paying off as we are now attracting more enquiries than ever before from prospective agents looking to work with us, and in June we had our most successful month with the highest number of new homeworkers joining the team. But we need to now accelerate the pace of our recruitment."
The Travel Network Group currently has 60 homeworkers within Independent Travel Experts and wants to grow this by 40% in the next year.
