Make a splash not a plop campaign launched
ABTA has joined forces with Huggies for a ‘Make a splash not a plop’ hygiene campaign to wear swimming nappies.
In the UK, around 3,000 swimming pools are temporarily forced to close every year for cleaning due to babies using inadequate swim nappies.
ABTA will be offering its members an exclusive money-off coupon for Huggies Little Swimmers as part of the Swim Savvy campaign, for them to share with families booking a holiday.
Huggies swim nappies are the only ones recommended by the Swimming Teachers Association.
Nikki White, head of destinations and sustainability, ABTA said: ‘Swimming pool closures cause disruption for holidaymakers and travel companies alike. It’s important that parents are aware of how to have fun in the pool with their babies without any accidents."
