Oceania Cruises’ Marina, being built at Fincantieri’s shipyard near Genoa, is taking shape prior to delivery in a year’s time.
The luxury line’s 1,258-passenger flagship is due to make its debut as the company’s fourth and largest vessel in January 2011.
Inaugural itineraries will be revealed in the coming weeks with bookings opening next month.
The ship will feature 10 dining venues – six of which are open-seating gourmet restaurants – including Jacques, the first restaurant at sea for Chef Jacques Pépin.
Other highlights include a Bon Appétit Culinary Center, Owner’s Suites exclusively furnished with Ralph Lauren Home, a Grand Stairway and lobby area custom-crafted by Lalique and a full-service Canyon Ranch SpaClub and fitness center.
