Malaysia increases baggage allowance
Malaysia Airlines is increasing its baggage allowance by 10kg in every class.
Economy Class passengers will now get 30 kilograms standard baggage allowance, Business Class guests will be entitled to 40 kilograms and those in First Class will have 50 kilograms.
The airline is also reducing its excess baggage charges for travel in all classes.
The new system will apply to all travel from February 14, irrespective of tickets issued earlier reflecting the original lower free allowance.
Malaysia Airlines’ area manager UK & Ireland Yuzrizal Mohd Yousuf said: "The revised checked baggage policy is a great bonus for our UK and Irish passengers travelling from London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur on our double daily A380 service and beyond to South East Asia and Australasia."
