Malaysia interstate travel, full tourism restart allowed soon
Malaysia will allow interstate travel and tourism visits once it reaches 90% vaccination rate of the adult population. The Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob revealed this week that the rate had already surpassed 80%.
The PM said the target will take two to three weeks to achieve. The Langkawi tourism bubble recently launched which has been relatively successful. The PM also said that southern state Johor would transition from phase one to phase two starting from today, 24 September.
