Malaysia’s newest airline preps for launch
Malaysia’s newest budget airline is nearly ready to take off.
MYAirline received its air operator certificate last week from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia.
It is still in the pre-launch planning stage but could start flying in the last quarter of 2022.
Airline CEO Rayner Teo said it would operate three Airbus A320-200 aircraft, initially on domestic routes.
It aims to launch international services in the future.
MYAirline hasn’t disclosed what routes it will fly first.
