Man charged after assaulting TSA officers
A man is facing charges after alleging attacking multiple TSA officers during an incident at Harry Reid International Airport passenger screening.
Jhonn Raul Vizcaino Ramirez is charged with interfering with security personnel and entry by false pretenses.
He attempted to pass security screening using the boarding pass of a woman.
Shortly after being questioned about this, he allegedly became violent.
A scuffle ensued and Ramirez allegedly grabbed a pen and attempted to stab the officers.
“Law enforcement was notified, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded, resulting in an arrest,” said an airport spokesperson.
Ramirez is set for a court appearance later this month.
