Man in custody after woman stabbed at Hilton Hotel in Manchester
Police are investigating the stabbing of a woman at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester’s Deansgate.
The 20-year-old woman was rushed to hospital with lacerations to her neck following the attach on Monday morning.
Six people, including a teenage girl, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Five have since been released but one, a 20-year-old man, remains in custody for questioning.
The victim is understood to have been discharged from hospital.
Greater Manchester Police said they were continuing their investigations.

A cordon was put up around the historic Beetham Tower, which houses the Hilton, and a room inside the hotel was taped off following the incident.
A spokesman for the Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, said: "We can confirm that a serious incident took place at the hotel.
"The matter is now in the hands of the Greater Manchester Police and we are co-operating fully as they conduct their investigation.
