Man stabbed himself in head at Heathrow
A man was taken to hospital after stabbing himself in the head at Heathrow Airport with a knife bought in a duty-free shop.
Eye-witnesses said the man started attacking himself outside a shop in T5 at around 5.45pm.
Police said his injuries were not life-threatening and no other passengers were hurt.
They said there had been no breach of security and it is thought the man bought the knife in a duty-free outlet after he had passed through the standard security check.
Scotland Yard issued a statement saying no other person was being sought in connection with the incident.
