Management changes at HRS
The HRS Group is expanding and restructuring its management team within its Global Hotel Solutions brand as it increases its global presence.
Flavio Ghiringhelli, who has been with HRS since September 2012, has been promoted to the management team and becomes vice president of corporate solutions, South-West and Eastern Europe.
Ghiringhelli formerly worked for easyJet and Meridiana.
Dirk Schmidt takes over the North-Central Europe region as managing director corporate solutions.
He joined HRS in October 2015 and was previously VP and general manager in several companies, including Novell and Attachmate Group.
Jason Long continues to be responsible for strategic partnerships with global travel management companies, global distribution systems and online booking tools as VP corporate solutions international.
Mathias Warns, currently VP corporate solutions EMEA, will leave the company at the expiry of his contract in April.
At management level, Oliver May joins as global lead MICE/strategy. Previously May held the role of executive VP at Meetago.
Jeff Hillenmayer joins the US team as head of corporate sourcing Americas and will be strengthening the company’s sourcing position in the market.
Hillenmayer is a former employee of Lanyon where he worked as VP service.
Finally, Eduardo Murad joins HRS to take over the role of director of sales in Brazil.
He was previously the former president of Alagev, the Latin American Association of Events and Corporate Travel Managers.
"The new structure is the ideal basis for further growth, enabling us to meet the special requirements of our customers in the individual regions even better. At the same time, we are working within a global network, therefore meeting the expectations of the likes of Panasonic," said HRS CEO Tobias Ragge.
"These promotions underline our endeavour to continuously offer opportunities for growth to our employees and fill vacancies internally."
