Margaritaville at Sea’s newest ship to homeport in Miami
Margaritaville at Sea’s newest flagship Beachcomber will call cruise capital PortMiami home year-round.
Beginning in 2027, Beachcomber will offer 4- to 8-night itineraries to all-new ports on eastern and southern Caribbean itineraries.
New calls include St. Maarten, St. Thomas, USVI, and the Dominican Republic.
“In just a few short years, we’ve gone from one ship and one itinerary to three homeports, three distinct ships, and over 25 ports,” said Christopher Ivy, Chief Executive Officer of Margaritaville at Sea Cruise Line.
“The arrival of Beachcomber in PortMiami is the next big chapter in our growth, giving our guests greater accessibility, more horizons to explore, and more time to unwind.”
PortMiami handles more than seven million cruise passengers annually.
“Miami-Dade has always been a gateway to the world, With Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber now homeporting at PortMiami, we’re proud to connect our community and guests to even more destinations,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.
Beachcomber’s first voyages are now available to book, with 2027 departures visiting destinations, such as Philipsburg, St. Maarten, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Bimini, Aruba and Bonaire.
It marks the third homeport after Palm Beach and Tampa for the Paradise and Islander ships.
At over 100,000 gross tons, Beachcomber is the largest ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet.
Beachcomber will feature more than 15 brand-new venues.
