Mark Travel Corporation acquires Exclusive Group Travel

The Mark Travel Corporation has sealed a deal to acquire New York-based Exclusive Group Travel (EGT).

The acquisition will strengthen Mark Travel’s commitment to travel agents and will boost the company’s expertise and resources in call center and groups support, which will operate out of EGT’s New York-based offices.

"This is an extremely exciting time for us. The EGT Brand will now operate as a part of the Funjet Vacations brand and will enhance options for travel agents when booking group vacations. We are happy to welcome EGT travel agents to the Mark Travel family," said Mark Noennig, executive vice president of travel agency engagement.

In addition to Funjet Vacations, Mark Travel also operates the United Vacations®, Southwest Vacations® and Blue Sky Tours brands.

"Mark Travel is the perfect home for EGT, and I am confident travel agents who support EGT will receive the same excellent service and support that they have come to expect," said Steve Gorga, president of EGT.

Founded in 2014, Exclusive Group Travel is a tour operator which sells exclusively to travel agents specializing in FIT and group travel with a focus on specific destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
