Marriott names new global PR head
Hotel group Marriott International has named Tricia Primrose as global chief communications and public affairs officer.
Primrose joins Marriott from Rational 360, a PR and communications firm, and has previously served as executive vice president, global communications and public affairs at AOL.
She led the communications strategy during AOL’s public offering.
Primrose will be responsible for corporate relations, government affairs, corporate communications planning and operations, and corporate social responsibility.
Marriott said Primrose will join the company in early September.
Primrose is a graduate of Georgetown University and a Washington, DC area resident.
