Marriott to reach milestone of 50 Thailand hotels in 2023
Marriott International plans to reach 50 Thailand hotels by mid-2023.
This will see the adding of eight hotels next year.
It includes the debut of two new brands – Autograph Collection Hotels and Moxy Hotels.
“Our growth in Thailand signifies the overall confidence in Thailand’s tourism industry,” said Jakob Helgen, Area VP, Marriott International.
Marriott continues to strengthen its existing premium brands in Thailand, including Sheraton, Marriott Hotels, and Westin.
The company will open its first Autograph Collection with Madi Paidi Bangkok, Autograph Collection expected in mid-2023.
With the rise of digital nomads the company expects to expand its extended stay portfolio with the anticipated opening of three properties.
New Thailand hotels from Courtyard by Marriott and Moxy Hotels are expected to add to existing select service portfolios.
“Our 2023 openings reflect the strong demand from both local and international travellers, ,” added Helgen.
Marriott currently has 14 brands in more than 10 destinations across Thailand.
