Maui offers seven-day training and fam trip
The Maui Visitors & Convention Bureau is offering travel agents a "Maui Nui Master Specialist Program," an intense educational fam trip focused on the Hawaiian islands of Maui, Moloka’I and Lana’i.
Only 15 agents will be accepted for the program; they will be chosen based on their "prior sales to Hawaii and competitive destinations."
The fee of $640, or $499 for ASTA or NACTA members, includes seven nights double occupancy accommodations, most meals, and classroom-style training sessions on each island.
Only one agent per agency location will be considered, and no guests or spouses are permitted.
Attendees also will be required to take four online courses before the program begins.
