Mauritius on the road in Australia
The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) has launched its first in-market joint activity in Australia, with workshops in Perth and Melbourne, and a visit to Sydney.
Mauritius will be represented by 10 local stakeholders, including major hotels such as Sun Resorts, Le Meridien, Sofitel, Veranda Resorts and LUX Resorts.
The roadshow will kick off with B2B sessions and a travel agent expo in Perth (Novotel Perth, June 18, 6pm-9pm) followed by a visit to Sydney and another travel agent expo in Melbourne (June 20, Novotel Melbourne on Collins, 6pm-9pm).
Workshops will hear a presentation by Dr. Karl Mootoosamy, director of MTPA Mauritius, followed by Mauritian food and entertainment and prizes.
Air Mauritius recently launched a third weekly flight from Perth to SSR International Airport Mauritius.
