MAXjet raises Washington frequency
All-business class carrier MAXjet is to increase Stansted-Washington DC frequency from five to six flights a week.
The additional flight will see the carrier operating every day except Saturday to Washington Dulles from March 15, 2007.
An announcement on new routes will be made soon as the airline adds two new aircraft to the fleet early next year.
The airline, which started last year with flights to New York, adding a twice-weekly frequency to Las Vegas from Stansted earlier this month.
A dedicated connectivity section on its revamped website enables users to build their own onward connections in North America and Europe.
MAXjet has also teamed up with the Radisson SAS at Stansted to offer an ‘Arrive and Refresh’ service offering passengers from New York a free buffet breakfast and use the hotel’s gym, showers and indoor swimming pool.
CEO Gary Rogliano said: “Current loads are over and above our projections and forward bookings are also very strong.
“We try to make travelling to the States as easy as possible for our customers by offering them the extensive information on connections. Our new flight to Vegas, as well as being a popular destination in its own right, will also offer greater scope for connections with the west coast.”
