Online accommodation-only retailer, Med Hotels has expanded its sales team on the back of buoyant business with agents.

The company has recruited Travelbargains sales manager, Paul Laughton and Wellington Travel branch manager, Claire Chambers, to join its trade sales team.

Mr Laughton takes the role of sales support manager and Ms Chambers assistant sales support manager. The now six-strong team alongside an administration team, will enable Med Hotels to support its travel agent partners seven days a week.

Med Hotels sales and marketing director, Carl Burrows said: “This new structure will allow us to offer greater support and reduced call times for our agents. The vast majority of our business comes to us directly from the trade and we want to ensure that we are able to answer their queries as promptly and efficiently as possible.”
