Medhotels is claiming to be the first player in the accommodation-only sector to launch  its 2009 summer programme.

The company is offering 50 European, North African and long-haul destinations with the promise of more to come in the next few months.

Prices start from £15 per person, per night on self catering basis at the four-star Sand Beach Resort in Lanzarote. All inclusive prices start from £20 per person, per night at the five-star Green Nature Club and Hotel in  west Turkey.

medhotels.com head of planning and trading James Eustace said: “ We recognise the support we need to provide our travel agency customers in trying to maximise the opportunity to make a sale whether that be late bookings, winter or into next summer.”
