Melia debuts new Vietnam beach resort in April
Melia Hotels International’s first Melia branded resort in southern Vietnam celebrates its grand opening next month.
The luxury Melia Ho Tram Beach Resort features 152 rooms and 61 villas.
It joins Melia Hanoi, Melia Danang and Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat as the fourth in Vietnam for the Spain based hospitality group.
The 17-hectare resort holds a grand opening on April 20 after a soft opening period from March 15.
Comprehensive resort amenities include restaurants, a beach club, three swimming pools, a spa, executive lounge, conference facilities, and a kids club.
It is a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City.
"Ho Tram is fast developing a reputation as Ho Chi Minh City’s answer to New York’s Hamptons," said the resort’s general manager Manuel Ferriol Argent.
The resort has 500m of ocean frontage and surrounded by mangrove forests and the Ray River.
It is located within easy access of the Greg Norman-designed Bluffs Ho Tram Strip golf course and Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve.
