Memorial service for Gwyn Hughes
The memorial service for cruise doyenne, Gwyn Hughes who passed away on 18 December, is confirmed for Monday, January 13, at Marylebone Parish Church, Marylebone Road.
The service is expected to attract a large number of travel and tourism colleagues wishing to celebrate his life and achievements over a 40-year span in the industry.
It will start at 2pm and last an hour.
HIs wife, Tricia Handley-Hughes, requests that the congregation steers away from black in favour of bright, spring colours, reflecting his favourite season.
Following his treatment for leukaemia and bone marrow stem cell transplant, Gwyn wished to recognise the commitment and effort by the two very supportive organisations that helped him through the last 12 months, The Anthony Nolan Trust and The London Clinic.
More information will be available at the service, or should you wish to make a contribution, you can contact Tricia via email on [email protected].
