Mobissimo says it has become the first meta-search engine to display fares directly from American Airlines.

“Our pioneering relationship with American Airlines is a tremendous milestone for our company and the meta-search industry,” said Adam Meron, vice president, Mobissimo.

Mobissimo calls itself the world’s most comprehensive travel search engine. It searches 122 different travel sites domestically and abroad to find inexpensive fare.

The San Francisco-based company is launching a French language site this summer. Company officials say other new travel search tools will also be unveiled in the near future.
