Mexico inbound tourism surpasses pre-pandemic levels
International tourism to Mexico topped pre-pandemic levels for the first six months of the year. About10.26 million foreign visitors arrived through June, just surpassing the first half of 2019 by 1.5%.
The number of Americans flying to Mexico increased 19% to 6.66 million. A little over 10 million tourists came to Mexico in the first half of 2019.
Mexico’s economy overall grew 1% in the second quarter, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography said.
