Miami Rainbow Spring LGBTQ+ Program returns
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) announced the return of annual LGBTQ+ program Rainbow Spring.
Now in its third year, Rainbow Spring runs March 1 through June 30.
Diversity and inclusivity remain at the core of Miami and Miami Beach, and the Rainbow Spring initiative continues to grow with an array of unique programming and promotional.
This year, the GMCVB is again joining with long-time partner, Expedia, and expanding the program’s international reach through a new partnership with Booking.com.
This collaboration will target key markets including Madrid, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, and Brussels.
“Greater Miami and Miami Beach takes pride in being a welcoming community for LGBTQ+ travelers year-round,” said Dan Rios, GMCVB’s Director of LGBTQ+ Tourism Marketing.
“With Rainbow Spring, we continue to offer meaningful experiences to ensure our LGBTQ+ visitors feel celebrated, and represented.”
The GMCVB’s partnership with Expedia has propelled the Rainbow Spring program last year to $17.2 million in gross bookings, resulting in an impressive 18.6% year-over-year growth. The partnership with Booking.com will leverage the platform’s extensive international network to connect travellers to tailored offers and exclusive experiences in Miami and Miami Beach.
