Miami tourist boat collision injures 13 people
Over a dozen people were injured following a boat collision near PortMiami.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said two vessels collided in Fisherman’s Channel.
The Thriller tour boat apparently collided with a privet boat.
Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventures offers ‘Miami vice style’ tours on the water.
Twelve were transported to hospital while another in a more serious condition had to be airlifted.
Multiple agencies from Fire Rescue, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard all responded.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
