Mickey and Minnie fancy a Sydney harbour view!
With Disney oeprating some of the leading theme parks in the world, it appears that Sydney has now come on their agenda with reports that Walt’s boys are in talks with the State Government regarding a piece of Sydney’s prime foreshore.
Perhaps Disney should have chat with Sheik Ahmed and the team at Emirates about the inordinate delays and bureaucratic wrangles with the NSW State Government, which were reportedly so bad that at one point the Sheik nearly pulled the plug and he and Emirates team members have been openly quoted as saying, if they had known then what they know now they would have never agreed to develop a resort in NSW
The site under discussion is reportedly White Bay in the main Sydney Harbour, currently the car import and Ro Ro terminal which along with nearly everything else that makes Sydney the world’s classic working harbour is planned to be moved to Botany, leaving the harbour pretty well a tourist theme park in any case!
Watch this space for Mickie and Minnie coming “down underâ€
